Apologies for the lateness of today's entry, but I was stuck at work till around 8pm and then found that this shot took way longer to get right than I anticipated.
Some of you will be familiar with this style/type of shot, but as some of you may not have seen it before I'll hold off explaining until later.

I checked out the links: very, very cool. So how was the spiral effect achieved? You have remarkable control over your smoke, as odd of a compliment as that might be.

Excellent shot! I really like these smoke images but am yet to give it a try. I like this a lot for the colour and the composition, but most of all because the shape the smoke has created is not as random as some of the others i have seen. It still looks very delicate but there is a definite, spiral- like shape formed by the smoke, which i think is really special. There must be some sort of method to caox the smoke into creating more interesting patterns, or is it all down to trial and error. All the same, i do like this a lot. - [Chuks]

I visited the site that you had linked in your comment, and I'm afraid to say, felt those photos were better executed than this post. With this post, you were able to capture the inherently graceful (but obscure) behavior of smoke. And although, this photo was beautiful, it was boring nonetheless. Perhaps because, I did not perceive the supposed "chaos."
However, I mainly commented to thank you for opening my eyes to yet another interesting niche and to continue to inspire new techniques to practice. So thanks
