I managed to get out for a little over an hour today, and came back with three tolerably reasonable shots, of which this is probably my least favourite. And for those of you with very long memories, I put up a similar shot to this one in 2004.

You stated yesterday that the 'Chromasia' archive cupboard is almost empty. Two years or so down the line and with so much more PP techniques at your disposal have you thought of revisiting some of your earlier work and posting them. I reckon you would probably do things different than first time around and it would be very interesting to see how you've moved on, especialy if you linked the 'old' & 'new'.
Paul: yes, I have thought of doing that, and have reworked a couple of my very early images. I'll think more seriously about it next time I run out of stuff to post.
I like this a lot. The graphic nature of it works as does the fact that you've gone in really close... I like the negative connotation of illness and quarantine with theinclusion of the horizontal bars.. It slightly reminds me of the yellowman in Sin City.
well.

hard to know what to say, it just sound right. Good use of public publicity, framing, colors, all. Impressive. As usual.

Ok its time too leave a comment. I am probably one of the many that visit your sight and never leave comments. As I have learnt quite a bit from your site I think it is important to acknowledge this. I started taking average photos again after having an interest as a lad about 12 months ago. I have upgraded my camera twice in that time and have most of the equipemnt you have also now. I am improving my PS techniques and still going through a steep learning curve. I really appreciate the information I have picked up from here. Thanks David Serville www.flickr.com/photos/servilles
lu: yep, you're right, and in an ideal world I'd probably have the time to shoot enough material to put up something of a higher standard each day. I guess that's the downside of the image-a-day thing: sometimes I just don't have enough high quality stuff to put up.

this just rocks! :)

This image portrays exactly how I feel tonight! Very good work.
yeah! like croz, this shot reminds me sin city!
Excellent! I love the two colors dividing the picture.
Very good spin on the shot, reminiscent of Sin city, as usual excellent PP..
Hmm. I don't know about this one. The colours are interesting, but I don't really feel that the final result works for me.
Thanks everyone.
Thomas: no, it doesn't quite work for me either.
it's rather disappointing, comparing to what you've already shown us.
sorry to be such a bitch but you really could do better!
