This is the first of two shots of Camilla who, obligingly, spend about half an hour yesterday running and jumping around while I took photographs. Tomorrow's, given that both today's and yesterday's are monochrome images, is a lot more colourful.

I really like it but the title is a little misleading. There is more space on the right!

Hey it's a wonderful moment frozen in time! Her pose and the splash of water are so filled with energy!

Beautifull Scene, great moment :)

This is an awesome photo. Well done sir.
Not so sure on the title though. Granted, I'm not sure I can come with anything better, but still. Seems a playful image such as this would do a little better with a more playful title.
Tones and contrast work much better for me on this one as opposed to yesterday's.. I've always liked really contrasty shots. I guess it boils down to personal taste. fast shutter of 1/800 stops everything perfectly. A very plesing shot and I look forw3ard to the colour one tomorrow..

Great action and clarity. Given the distance between her and the water (enhanced by the folded legs), it's almost as if she was pulled up. I would have never thought to crop at 2x1; it works great here.

Fantastic
I love how you can see the movement although it is one image frozen in time
I'll second the comment on today's monochrome looking somehow better than yesterdays - maybe it looks a bit more like a real silver print. Looking forward to the colorful one tomorrow.

I love it. But I'm also looking forward to some more colourful images on chromasia. It's been a bit flat lately...
I have to admit, I haven't been commenting on every single picture you post, but lately, they've been more amazing than usual. Especially this one. I love how it simply defies logic. I mean, it looks like they jumped out of the water, but you know they have to be jumping INTO the water. It's just a great shot.

it looks like deep waters that she jumps out of. its amazing. with the monochrome you cant tell its shallower waters. awesome!

Wow.. that's an impressive leap out of water.

great! makes me remind of that Radiohead-video "Street Spirit (Fade Out)." A B/W video where they freeze up movements (like jumps etc) into great slomo's...
pffff...
well maybe i'm blabla-ing a litle now, but it's very warm over here...

It's a great picture. I really like it. It doesn't look like the water is that shallow for her to be able to jump up like that.
Oh and Paul, "top dead centre" refers to the top point of an oscillating system, like a piston.
Very cool, I really like it!
great action shot!
:-)

love the framing!!! Great shot again!
Ooh, nice. Even better than yesterday's. Such a simple idea yet I know I wouldn't even have thought of it.
How did she jump so high?
i like the title too. you must have had an aircooled VW at one time.
Fantastic shot! Long time viewer, first time commenter. Love your work!
this has to be magic
these last shota related are just lovely and very well processed
Very nice. I like the droplets suspended in the air.
I like this, although the sharpening haloes around her knees are a bit annoying.
i like your picture alot! it reminds me of some of antimethod's stuff on flickr, of which this is certainly my fav.
It looks as if you're laying beneath a pier, and he/she is being pulled out of the water. That's what I make of it :)

superbe cadrage !
I love it !
Thanks all.
And just to explain: she is jumping up and the water was probably about four inches deep.

After all you managed to take "a happy foto" :=D
I really like the odd framing of this one, and also the illusion that she's jumping in much deeper water.
This is good!
I just like the whole image from the composition, the processing and the crop used.
Good stuff this.
truely fantastic picture! maybe my fave in all yours really
there is a real daliesque feel to this shot: obvious at first , but to all intents slightly surreal. superb imagery: more, please!
great photo! love it..
wow !!! this is great !!!!
