Both these shots are of the boarding surrounding the current refurbishments to the Midland Hotel in Morecambe, the first Art Deco hotel in Britain, built in 1933. I'm putting both up as i) I think they work better together, and ii) aren't sufficiently different to put up as separate entries.
On another matter: postings may be sub-standard or non-existent over the next day or so as Libby and I are both struggling with this cold. It's one of those viruses that leaves you feeling as though walking up the stairs is akin to a major Himalayan expedition and even the simplest of tasks are currently a chore. Hopefully I'll come up with something tomorrow, but if not I'll either be raiding the archives or not posting at all.
The EXIF data that follows is for the first shot. The data for the second shot, taken a couple of minutes later, is almost identical.

Wihout the explanation, the images are bit surreal and confuse the eye. I like them.

Very special shot, very difficult to understand.
I like the blue.

They definitely work well together. I like the amount of detail, not sure about the shots overall. If you told me about them I'd love the idea behind them but seeing the actual photos leaves me a bit undewhelmed. Anyway I hope you get better soon. If you run out of shots to process you're welcome to some of mine ;)
These really caught my eye - and are, as someone has already said, different. Even with your explanation they defy logical reading. almost like 'found collages', which I guess is what they really are in a way. You have added an extra layer by skillful framing and processing. Very nice.

Nice tones on this shot. I agree, they work well together as opposed to apart (although I really like the first one and believe it could stand alone as sometihng "surrealistic" or abstract).
Hope you guys get better soon.....

So much to study in these photos, they are works that should be taken in small details at a time.

Thanks all.
Even with the explanation I have no idea what is going on in either of them.
