John and I went for a wander around Blackpool today and on our way home we bumped into this gentleman. You'd be forgiven for thinking that we terrorised him into posing, but the interaction was a bit stranger than that.
John said (something like) "can we take your picture?" and this guy, without saying a single word, sprang into this rather startled pose. We both took a photograph, thanked him, he smiled, and we walked home.
And I did have a few other things I wanted to say this evening, but it's been a really hectic day so I'll talk about most of them tomorrow. One thing I would like to say though: following being featured in the North West Enquirer (which I mentioned yesterday) we were also featured in the Metro today, so if you've visiting chromasia for the first time, after reading about us during your daily commute, welcome :-)

i would have thought it really was a startling action shot, until I read what really happened. It's so sharp! I like mucho.
Richard has helped me with the blog. I am testing pixyblog for him, so hopefully he will be able to work out all the kinks shortly and get it into people's hands! My name today links to the pixyblog site, so be sure to check it out.

The expression here is just fantastic. The way the tones are balance is also very interesting - especially the very netural skin.
hahahahaha! I think kudos have to go to the guy for this one! While you've composed and processed it to perfection (as always), I just think he totally makes the image :D
the stance, his finger and thumb holding the keys, his eyes just brilliant

Hilarious expression.
The whole pose, and the fingertip grasp on the keys makes this a really cool capture.
It's the key. That's what I like.
Great image! When I saw the rss feed with the title I was fully expecting a pirate.
Wonderful capture. The expression on his face is priceless. Very sharp image too. I am anxious to see John's version as well.
