I know I said that I had two more shots that I was going to put up from Collins (the part-derelict DIY shop where the last two were taken) but I've decided to hang onto them, mostly because they're definitely worth including in the project, but not so great for a picture-a-day photoblog.
Instead, here's one that was taken on the same trip, but this one is from the top floor of what was the Flamingo nightclub. I have a couple more from the same building but as they're quite similar I'll probably put them both up tomorrow, either as consecutive entries, or as a pair.

I love the lighting. This shot has an appeal to me greater than that of any of your recent shots. The silhouettes, the lighting, the geometry, the broken glass, everything works wonderfully. Great shot, David.

I have to say, I'm glad you are making this type of picture. Yesterdays photo was obviously not well received and I too was not taken by it. That said, I must have viewed the image about 15 times, mainly because whilst I didn't feel the composition worked I was at a loss as to how I would have approached it myself. In the end I actually thought that the image was reasonably successful, it grew on me.
This image is very engaging. Lot's of information to take in and yet not too complicated at the same time. I like the broken window and the figure which adds just the right amount of interest.
I really do like this attempt at documenting something what I consider to be real and relevent. It's a departure for sure, but that said why not branch out with the work you create.
Anyway, that's my opinion and well done.

A lot to look at here. The colours and reflections are great. The light is perfect and the symmetry adds some interest.
Interesting frame... Nice lightning and beautiful shapes!

I liked yesterday shot but this one is much superior, at least for me. Beautifully framed, full of textures and the addition of the man (you?) makes the shot. It's like a goodbye to that place.

Dude! This really is an awesome shot. It speaks to me in ways the previous 2 days images did not. Angular, reflective, derelict, moody, the figure suggesting a past now forgotten, the emptiness, the coldness of the place...
This images evokes many emotions within me. That's what I meant yesterday, when I said I was "feeling" the image.

This is a very good return to the photography which I admire you for, the lighting is great and the image screams Chromasia...superb

This is a photo that takes some looking at to appreciate since initially there is visual "jumble" due to all the lines, shadows, and textures but then the person pulls the image together and makes me look longer. Different style but effective.

Hmm I don't know. This one doesn't do much for me. Very busy and there doesn't seem to be anything that immediately makes my eye gravitate towards. Just my opinion and the beauty of art is that no one is either right or wrong.

Like most of your work I really like this one. The lighting, the combination of colours and the background through the door are great.
On another subject, I tried to set one of your recent photos as my wallpaper but it didn't work. I guess you made this for copyright reasons but I am a bit sad of that since I just wanted to "advertize" your site and make my workplace nicer.
Good work and awesome site though.

Yes I like this shot also. Nice interplay of light and shadow and the broken panes add that extra dimension. Not sure the figure adds anything - its not in keeping with the angular designs - but hey I don't much care for people in my landscape photos anyway!

Thanks all.
nferreira: actually, it's Libby. Next time I'll ask her to generate a more obviously feminine silhouette ;-)
Rom1: it's more to do with the way I've got the navigation set up than any attempt to stop people downloading images. If you turn javascript off in your browser you'll be able to set it as a desktop.
Graham: I did take a few without Libby in shot, but decided I liked this one better.
