For various reasons, the content and title of this one seem apposite at the moment as we're currently thinking through various options regarding the future of chromasia. Not the blog – that will continue as it has for the last couple of years – but the company ... where we go next, how much time we invest, and so on. All of which is a bit cryptic, and I'm not really inclined to say much more about it at the moment, but this image tied into my thoughts on that topic.
PS – this, IMO, looks better with the black theme.

What should you do with the company? Turn it into a huge success. Where should you go next? To the top. How much time should you invest? As little as possible. There, that was easy. I should be a management consultant.
Not a huge fan of silhouettes usually but this is as good as any. You're right that the black theme brings it out a lot more. Now you're making me think about re-coding my entire blog so I can choose which background colour goes with which picture. Nnnngggg...

I understand you perfectly, Dave. I'm aware of the problems that you and Libby are facing because of the tutorials for example. Of course, if you want that Chromasia grow as a company, everything must be in order and not always the path is very clear, as shown in today's photo. :-)

Very interesting shot. I love silhouettes, and this is a wonderful specimen. Obviously, if you title an image of a locked gate and the muddy path it withholds "the road ahead," you're certainly saying something. I think that is backed up by the colors and lighting in the image. Great capture.

what ever desition you guys take, hope is the best for all the family. Love the golden reflection and the title composition that perfectly match with the idea you just exposed :).

Hi Dave, looks like your pretty conflicted. I'd like to say though that your blog is a constant inspiration to me, and I wish you as much and more joy and happiness than what I receive by your work everyday. All the best.

Hmmm great photo - very atmospheric and obviously a good metaphor for where you are at the moment. IMO family comes first - other stuff can wait - children grow too quickly to miss any of it - even if it means I dont get my tutorials ;-) Good luck!

Arthur's Union Jack observation is a good one. I think it works great as moody silhouette.
