Interesting catchlight, DJN... and nice framing: which edge did you crop?

comment by djn1 at 08:53 PM (GMT) on 29 November, 2006

Arthur: I'm puzzled by the catchlight, but it's interesting. And I cropped the right side of the image.

Interesting shot ... the manner of cropping (or even missing ... ha ha )...is intriguing. Mystical expression as well.
Heck DJN .... why wasn't Camilla at school? ...Joking ..but tell us anyway please.

Richard: she was doing a 'work shadowing' day, so she did some chromasia related stuff with me in the morning (well, she sat there and listened to me on the phone), then we went into the University this afternoon – where she got bored to death in a one hour meeting.

Very expressive and moody. I like the reflection/light in her eye.

just a question - what method(s) did you use to knock out the background?

Strange focuse on this one but the shot is taken at the right time, the Camilla expression is perfect.

i'd fogotten that you teach at a university. i guess seeing a new picture every time i visit chromasia (which is pretty much everyday, by the way) sorta made me forget that you have a job outside photography. do your students know about this blog? i think they'd be interested in seeing it XD

Thanks everyone. And my apologies for not putting anything up today (Thursday), but it's been a stupidly long day.
