For the first time in ages I had some spare time today, so wandered along the beach and took various photgraphs of various things. 85 of them are almost entirely worthless (though I probably wont be saying that tomorrow), but this one I like.
More importantly: thank you for all your wonderful comments on my previous entry. We have a lot of changes ahead of us so it's good to hear so many of you wishing us well for the future :-)

I'm so jealous of your clouds. Here in Seattle, with the exception of a few day in the summer, its mostly grey...so much grey. I love your toning, makes me want to practive more. Thanks for the image.

Great image, the toning really suits the mood. Presumably it's the lull after the storm based upon the pictures of Blackpool sea front in this morning's news!

Mike: it was a bit windy ;-)
Arthur: actually, the sky was quite blue when the sun was out.

Beautiful, beautiful picture! This is amazing. The stark contrast of white on dark gray-blue is so cool! Excellent composition, the sun over to the left and the horizon is straight! I can never do that. Love this one!

Awsome sky. I like the light behind the clouds.
