Yet again, it's been far too long since I posted anything, but things are starting to get a little more settled now so I should be back to the image-a-day thing reasonably soon.
As for this one: it's the first of two quite similar shots that I couldn't decide between. In some ways I like this one best, but in others, I prefer tomorrow's. Both are taken from Fleetwood, facing south towards Blackpool.

Nice one David ... I've had a busy week teaching .... it's a shame I live in the East Midlands. It's so far from a decent beach ... and a long beach walk. Your local coastal beaches look sublime. Oh! ,,, and the phot's not bad either. I love the washed out effect. Reminds me of the washed-out pinks and blues of traditional wood-framed houses in Suffolk. Have you ever had a long weekend walking the wonderful beaches of North Nofolk .... no towers or feris wheels though ....
Keep them coming ...

Immaculate composition. The colours remind me of early Kodak colour print film or maybe Polaroid.Gives a timless feel.

Nice to read that you will be back soon. And wish you the best for the kid which is not born. Yours will be born in the same months as my. It´s in April isn´t it?
