This is a great portrait. Very emotive, with good colors and the composition is very well balanced. Keep photos like this coming but don't forget to post also classic Chromasia shots. :-)

Here's a little quote from a great photographer(Harry Callahan) for Matt who commented yesterday: 'There are no rules in photography (that's why it's so much better than baseball)' Another fab shot - project must be going well :-)

That's a very beautiful shot. I love the composition and the soft look to the photograph.

That's lovely. I haven't seen a lot of colour on chromasia recently and am enjoying this one.

This is a wonderful shot. I like the real shallow depth of field and the tight crop. Also, the burst of colour coming from his beanie is quite nice.

Great portrait as always - love the colour. Would not have thought ot use an underexposed flash in this instance - very clever.
Any reason you are using the 24-70 now rather than the 17-40. Is it because of the change to the 5D?

I always enjoy the portraits you take..you seem to capture the essence of a person..in this case, a beautiful little child with gorgeous eyes. Looks like this project is going to be a great success.

Thanks all.
Jennifer: yes, thanks, it's going well though the time-frame we're working to is a bit tight. Other than that though, it's going fine.
srv007: yes, the 17-40 is just a bit too wide for 'normal' shots on the 5D. Besides which, the 24-70 is a lot sharper.
Dorene: thanks, though the one I'm putting up next is much better :)
