This is another shot of the little lad I put up last week (here and here) and I suspect, not too many years from now, he'll be a little more grateful about this sort of attention ;-)
Oh, and I defy you to tell me that this one didn't make you smile :-)

He's smiling on the inside, David, believe me! Wonderful look on the little lad's face.

I agree with Psychodudu. He is smilling in a way nobody could see. He's only curious about you and your camera. :-)

Right moment to capture. The background you chose fits the general tone - I like the colours as well as the composition and contrast between the girls and this little guy.

Smile - more of a heart-felt chuckle - wonderful expression! Lovely comp and colours. I think you might be able to list this in your self-portrait section too - I'm sure I can see the man behind the lens in his eyes ;-)

Great shot! I see that you use flash in lot of your portrait shots. Do you use any modifiers on the flash?
comment byAlice at 03:49 PM (GMT) on 14 February, 2007
This definitely made me smile. What a great shot! Such a cute little guy....
comment byParker at 04:15 PM (GMT) on 14 February, 2007
A fantastic portrait! I, like Dominic, love the "old Chromasia" ...the artistic pictures of ordinary things and people caught unawares were what drew me here in the first place. But I'm glad you uploaded this image, which really brightened my morning. You're the photographer: take your own photos and put 'em on the site, and I can all but guarantee I'll be enthralled by the vast majority of them. :-)

Jennifer: yep, you can see my reflection.
Monica: thanks, and yes, I did.
Hitesh: only by all the attention he was getting.
Dominic: as soon as I have some time to take photographs of anything other than babies ;-)
pk and Simom: the flash was bounced off the ceiling.
