My apologies for not posting yesterday, but Libby and I spent most of the evening up at our local hospital. As a lot of you know, Libby is expecting the latest addition to our small army of children on the 16th of April. Last night though it looked as though she might have decided to arrive early, and at only 32 weeks that was a bit of a worry. Anyway, everything seems to have settled down today, so – fingers crossed – things should get back to normal fairly soon.
Ironically, it would have been handy to have another baby around the place as she could have been involved with the baby project I've mentioned a few times in recent weeks, but I guess I can wait; which neatly leads me on to today's shot: and yes, it's another baby shot.
That said, I'm definitely spending some time tomorrow out and about ... and I won't be photographing any babies ;-)

It's funny I thought this baby was your latest one! I found the concept of "army" very funny! so I hope to see new shots of your future soldier :-). BTW this picture is very nice, it give me the idea to have an other one (evrybody can have his own army) :-)

Gosh! It's so long since I have seen feet as pristine as this pair. My first, and most obvious reaction was to think how soft and unused they are. I've just checked the bottom of my feet and inspite having done loads of hill walking over the last 40 years I am actually surprised to see how soft my feet are. I was trying to remember when my big toes starting sprouting hair. Hmmm men's problems..... (probably too much information being divulged )
A fascinating photo Dave...

Glad to hear everything’s okay.
Now, nice as they are, enough with the babies already... :-)

Very nice shot. Huuu.. This is great, I love the colour-treatment in here and the exposure is well chosen too. Not too much contrast.

Make sure Libby takes it easy (if that's possible with the tribe!). Any ref to the 70's band in the title !? Lovely shot - sweet (ooops another 70's band!).

I've been visiting Chromasia daily for a couple of years but have never posted before today. Just wanted to say that I love this shot and I have enjoyed this whole series of baby photos. It was your photos of children that inspired my husband and me to invest in a digital SLR at Christmas with the aim to leanring to take better photos before having our own children - as I managed to get pregnant just a week later we don't have much time now and I'm taking very careful notes!!!! Keep them coming - and all the best with your next little one :-)

Glad to hear Libby and the baby are doing fine. It's always a bit scary when they arrive too soon. I have really enjoyed your baby shots..children are the most unpretentious and "natural" subjects to shoot..can't wait until that project is underway completely. You have so many beautiful baby shots of just your little army..I'm sure it could fill a book. I love this picture and it will be a keepsake for the parents..hands, toes, fingers...all are precious when it's your childs.

This is simply precious. The contrast between the textures of skin and fabric is tangible. How wonderful for your children to have their lives documented like this-- it's a true labor of love. Good luck with the new arrival!
