This is another shot for the baby project I've alluded too recently, and in saying that I realise that I haven't explained exactly what we're doing. When I've got a bit of time – either at the weekend or early next week – I'll explain the project in a bit more detail.
As for this one: it's not as immediately eye-catching as yesterday's shot, nor is it as cute as the one before that, but I'm still quite pleased with it.

It's probably cuter than yesterday! But not as cool.

love the blurring here Dave. very cute pic again, I can tell from your work lately that you are enjoying taking photos like this... beautiful to see passion in a mans work :)

Classic chromasia. The lighting and the composure remind me of your earlier pictures of your two younger daughters. I like the darkened edges. I also like the baby toy. Unlike some b/w baby pictures, it reminds you that he is just a baby who chews on plastic. But it's beautiful.

I didn't think I'd like another baby shot as much as I liked yesterday's, but this one is right up there! A wonderful perspective. Eyelashes on kids are always so amazingly long.

Precious. Focusing on that sweet face and blurring the rest makes this special. I appreciate your style.

If the left eye would be completely closed, it would be perfect ;) But you are right : its quite cute, too ;)
Agreement with Amy from me. Classic chromasia. And they are some serious lashes. Surprising how wekk they stand our in the rest of that wonderful softness.
very sweet! love the detail on little cute face! good work once again!

A very intimate shot. Really accentuates how delicate a baby is.

What long eyelashes! Beautiful shot. Very nicely done.

Did you use a gausian blur with a circular layer mask or is the DOF really that shallow and nicely produced? For a minute there I thought you used the SF lens.

Now this is a much better shot than the selective saturation. I like the expressions of the little guy, he seems to be getting immense joy from it and seems to be completely engrossed in it.

Thanks everyone.
Simon: I did add some blur, but not a great deal.

Of the three so far, I like this one most.
