Apologies for not posting yesterday, but I was wiped out by the time I got here and couldn't get my act together enough to post-process anything. Anyway, I'm currently sat a hotel room in Dubai and will be here for a week as one of the invited tutors of the Gulf Photo Plus annual training event. I'm not going to have a great deal of time to shoot any new material, but I will try and get something up ... though it may not be every day.
As for this one: it was taken yesterday, somewhere between Manchester and Paris, and I have to say that I never tire of taking photographs out of aeroplane windows - it's a strange and beautiful world up there.

Thanks all. And I hope I'll get some decent shots of Dubai, but I'm not going to have a great deal of time for shooting. I'll see what I can do.

Beautiful shot. Personally, I have a huge fear of flying and avoid it whenever possible, but it is beautiful when I can bring myself to look out the windows at the sky. Have a fun and safe trip!

It has an eerily similar look to your beach pictures--the clouds look like crashing waves. "On Earth as it is in Heaven"?

I've been meaning to take a closer look at the book "Window Seat: The Art of Digital Photography & Creative Thinking" by Julieanne Kost.
