It's been a busy day today, and I did take some photographs this evening, but for the time being you're going to have to make do with another shot from my flight. And I think I much prefer this one to yesterday's.

Gorgeous shot. Looks like someone's trying to play tic-tac-toe in the sky.

Wow, how'd you get such a nice shot through the thick plane window? I don't know much about photography (or airplane construction) but I figured it would be next to impossible to achieve that kind of clarity. Cool colors too, I'm assuming they were modified in Photoshop?

I've never flown before. I can only hope it will be this nice when I fly to England and Switzerland next year.

you never fail to capture beautiful frames Dave. I just arrived back from a trip and wanted to check if you have really posted something from your trip to Dubai. Chromasia did not turn me down in that ;)
See you soon!

nice shot with good b&w conversion - I especially like the result of it on the sky

A great shot and so clear that I'm sure you must have been sitting on the wing to take it!

This one is excellent. Nice processed with the tones. The clouds are just amazing.
You're really in Dubai? I sent you an e-mail with my number.
I'll be happy to meet you here.

I find flying scary but exciting. However, it is such a wonderland up there, the sky and cloud having such beauty. You have caught a nice design here David and your position in line with the wing was fortuitous as it is a great pointer into your 'skyscape'. Actually. I was just thinking this vista is a bit like a beach with its lines of breakers rolling in to the foreground sand!

Thanks all.
Parker: if you shoot pretty much square on to the window you can get pretty good results. And yes, it was converted to B&W and toned in Photoshop.
Ali: I've emailed you.
Gavin: I thought the same when I was taking it.

This is a potentially life-changing shot. A Goliath of a shot. It's 'perspective' personnifed. I think that people only usually see things with this fish-eye clarity when diagnosed as terminal. Well done, you.

Love this shot. I tried to take something similar on a flight from Australia to your home land last year. Unfortuately from a photgraphic point of view I was in business class (so was too far fwd in plane) but given the 23 hour flight I quickly got over it.
Enjoy.... http://www.fullnoise.com.au/blogs/gb/blog/index.cfm?fuseaction=display_blog&Image_id=80&next_record=p

I can't see an image yet david. looking forward to seeing it though, the last one was great.
Nice little, grey squere:)
With a pretty red X ;-)
Sorry about that. I used MT to upload the images as I can't access my FTP server from here. It's fixed now.
Stunning. Wonderful shot.
