It seems like no time at all since I introduced you to Finley, but it's now our daughter's turn. She was born at 5.34 am this morning, in a birth pool in our kitchen, and weighed in at 8lb 14oz. She's spent most of the day dozing and feeding in bed with Libby, and both, other than being a bit battered and bruised, are doing fine.
And I would write more, but we didn't get any sleep last night, I've run out of adrenaline and have become totally immune to the effects of caffeine. More tomorrow :-)
And thanks for all your good wishes over the last few days; they're much appreciated.
Update: it's now Sunday evening, and I don't have anything new to put up, but I just wanted to thank you all for your comments. Libby and baby are both still doing fine and I'm sure I'll be posting another shot of her soon.
Update #2 (Monday evening): once again, thanks for all the wonderful comments. We've had a chill out day today, which didn't involve taking any photographs, but I will put up something new either tomorrow or the day after.
And, after two and a half days, she now has a name: Tabitha Faye :-)

Your daughter is very cute, you know it already, and if you did not, you could not ignore it after reading all these comments. And the choice of the processing, the colour, the cropping gives the picture something very intimate that makes it good to illustrate some ad for very soft tissues or else ! :)
I do not comment often your pictures, because... I lack words and never have seen anything wrong or which could have been improved in it!

Best to you David, and to Donncha, from another new-again dad. My son was born last Monday morning (April 16), also in a birth pool at home. We didn't settle on his name until Friday evening.
