This isn't anywhere near as striking as the previous two shots of Rhowan, but I like it for what it is ... a simple shot of Harmony, playing at the beach.

Dave, too cute for words - I'm loving the definition on the grains on her cheek.

She looks like an adult!

I prefer this one to the previous two, David. great tones, and a nice touch with keeping some colour in the eyes

Maybe not striking - but certainly adorable! Why is it kids love sand - I hate the stuff ! ?

Its a beatiful girl and photo, but i dont like little girls painted.

That's a great picture of a little girl.

Congrats on your beautifull daughter.
A serious face...staring in the distance, distracted from her play...while the remains of that play are still visible.

A beautiful photo of a beautiful child who plays in beach. The two previous ones took care to me

I really do not like this shot. The saturation (lack of) actually depresses me. The sand too. I don't usually feel this strongly but I really can't find anything in it to appreciate.

Rod: No she is not painted!
As Dave said, its "a simple shot of Harmony, playing at the beach".

She's a cutie.

Very nice. Sorry for not being able to comment your photos in quite some time, I haven't had access to my rss-reader, and I read a LOT of photoblogs. Keeping up with them all is more than I can handle. I've added your blog to my google Reader account and I promise to become a more frequent commenter.

Beautiful tonings and quality. Also beautiful little girl. I would err on the cautions side before posting photographs of my little girl, particularly in the poses and with the lip and eye "make up" we have seen in the past few days. I have to say, also, that the rope round her neck, for me was quite disturbing; even though innocent.

Do people really think that this little girl looks like she's wearing lipstick? Gosh, my lips always looked like that after a day running around at the beach!

I really like the lit hair against the dark background.

Anyone who has tried knows that taking pictures of children charging about on a beach isn't easy! Great expression, focus pin-sharp, great light. My immediate reaction on seeing it was to chuckle with delight.

On the topic of lipstick... Just look at Richard Branson's lips. Some people just have red lips! On a more serious note, I prefer the previous two shots.

Thanks all.

I like it too. I suspect that if it did not follow "on from a dream" that it would merit more than "like" although that may just be because it's Harmony :-)
