I met up with John today, which was good as I haven't seen him in ages, and we took a walk along Fleetwood beach. The weather wasn't great, and I don't think I've got anything else to put up other than this shot, but it was an enjoyable trip.

What a wonderful warm washed out pink ...works well with the grey sands and foreboding skies.

Chuckle - like it - didn't find a baby dino wandering in the beach as well did you ;-)

the beach has often given you interesting ideas, also this time. Good David: -)

Did you find Mork?
OK, bad joke, but an interesting picture. The landscape is dramatic, but the silliness of a the pink ball breaks it up and seems to defy a coming storm.

Love the colors in this. What time of day did you shoot this?

comment by Dylan Tucker at 02:19 AM (GMT) on 18 June, 2007

I like the pink and green colors. Is that some sort of ceramic, or is it and old raquetball?

I really like the processing on this one. Love to see the original.

Intriguing shot!
The small DOF gives it its "I am lonely" feeling...
The beachsand almost looks like a Japanese garden..
Great contrast between the greenish, threatening sky and the vulnerabillity of the pink broken ball.

I like the illusions of scale in this shot

I'm thinking.... The Death Star, pre-school style.

I'll be interested in to see the image before & after processing, just to see how far your work on it.... Anyway it's great postprocessing as usual...
