Libby isn't all that impressed with this one, but I think it's one of my favourites from this small set: there's something about the way he's sticking his finger into the puddle that really appeals to me.

Nice pic , a new 'jardinière' !

I like it. The texture of his hair is great. Colors and DOF work very well together...FYI...might be just me but the RSS feed showed yesterdays image.

I LOVE this shot! I haven't seen a more "genuine" shot of the toddler mystique in a long time...if ever. The DOF is perfect and you're right about the hands and fingers--they do, indeed, speak volumes about what's going on in that cute little head. You don't need a face shot to capture the feeling of what is going on here. Definitely one of my favorites.

Oko: the RSS feed was a coding problem, it's fixed now.

PJ: yep, that's how I feel about this one :-)

Maybe it'll grow on Libby.

David - impressive series of shots. I like the timing of this shot.

This is a fabulous shot - I agree, the finger is where it's at in this photo. It makes me remember what it was like to be that young

Very nie shot. I keep telling myself to enjoy what my son is doing because very soon he'd be grown up.

hah! you let him do that :)
definitely the best of the three

the best of the three, yes, What I like is the tone. Don't know how you did this, but this is often that one which works on your images.

There's a lot of personality in this shot. I think it's really interesting that he's using his middle finger to explore the puddle. I bet most people reading (if they were in the mood for puddle exploration) would use their index finger.
It's my favourite of your recent shots by far.

this is great.

Yeh Dave I guess it's a boy thing (heck I must be careful I know of plenty of girls who would go along with messy!) Perhaps he's working out what two fingers of whisky would be!!!!! A spot on on the spot shot. Missed this by being away for ages in July and Aug.
