I do have two more shots of Ryan and Fiona, and several of Fiona on her own, but in the meanwhile I thought I'd share this one; and while I've found quite a few old tyres washed up on my local beaches I didn't really expect to find one in Nassau :-)

I think you took it with you for inspiration, just not the same without the grey Blackpool skies though ;-)

No, it doesn't have quite the same desolate feel as some of the ones I've posted, but I couldn't resist adding it to the collection.

Jetsam ...or is it flotsam? This stuff is found the world over ( but surely I'm stating the obvious). Looks a big enough tyre to come off a Hummer. Amazing intensity of colour.

Looks you have a flat here...
People are littering all over the world...thats a fact ..
the more beautiful the surroundings the more rubbish is lying around...
Nice for us photographers...

There's something rather reassuring about this; and at the same time redolent of the omnipresence of McDonalds wherever you go.
I did some work for a sculptor recently who lamented the scarcity of good flotsam/jetsam nowadays (from which she creates her artworks).

Right in your style. And a nice additional to the collection as you put it.

wow is that a spot of dust in the top near-right hand corner?
dont worry; it happens all the time to me and it bugs me to death...
but great pic, nonetheless. always bringing the chromasia shots from everywhere in the world.

I wished a little bit more light in the tire, so thta there will be everywhere some drawing in the dark. But amazing colourful sea and sky!

Heh... You can fly djn halfway around the world but you'll never stop him taking photos of tat on beaches ;)
Definitely different to the others but it makes me proud to be British in a way - I think our weather suits this style of photography better.
Thanks all.
Richard: no worries.
Samith: it could be. I'll check out the high-res' version.
Jamey: yep, I agree, our tat looks much better ;-)
Excellent! always like your photo.
