This is a shot of the emergency telephone at the Coast Guard station on Rossall Point at Fleetwood. I've photographed it a hundred times before, but this is the first one I've been happy with.

Fabulous light, I can see why you’re happy with it and I love the shadow – I see a rather fat rodent :-)

I love the reflections of the dock into the water with the hazy morning sky. It reminds me of home.

The rough stucco cladding works a treat with the sun low in the sky. A hundred efforts at this... Wow! Now that's what I like to hear Dave ... A bit of old fashioned perseverance ...smiles. Minimilist images? ... Not enough of them I say ...but they are hard work to get right. I like it.

I've followed your blog for a long time now but never left a comment. I dig this shot. So minimal, yet full of everything. Fantastic.
