My apologies to anyone who knows more about Holden Monaro's than I do, but I think that this is a Holden HK Monaro GTS, an Australian car first built in 1968. The bag belongs to my brother-in-law, who's over from Melbourne with my sister, and the decking runs down to the sea at Lytham. An odd combination for a photograph, but I like the end result.

Holden is the Australian marque from General Motors. The Monaro here I believe is the 68 as you have said. In the last few years they did an update. Whooooh cool. Was also sold in the USA as a Pontiac GTO. And agree, I like the result here.

A photo of a bag with a car on it? Oh well, you're a paid photographer and I'm not. :)

Oooh ! I really like this picture. I like how softly blurry the background is. And way to use the overcast lighting. yes! Sometimes, gray clouds offer the best natural lighting.
I love the bag. I would buy it.

Hmmm. Yes I see you are stretching your spectrum of themes(re:yesterday's comment). What will the inhabitants of Lytham have to say for having the aesthetics of their beach being 'fogged out' in preference to a plastic holdall? Can't complain about the querkiness of such shots though ...smiles.

Holden. I don't know a great deal about them myself but I do know a few things about them. Holden is promoted as the "Australian" car with a lot of patriotism surrounding it even though it is owned 100% by General Motors. Ford and Holden have very loyal fans in Australia with T-shirts like "I'd rather push my Holden than drive a Ford" and vice-versa.
