I remember your older shots of flowers, especially of the rose and this one just is just as beautiful. Great detail color and framing!

Gorgeous! Really great for a blow-up on the wall I think.

Arhhh the old 70-200 L 2.8, a lovely little number.... especially for shots like this. Keep up the good work, can't wait to hear what you've been upto.... CJ

Lovely shot. The centre draws you in, in a slightly hypnotic way. Or perhaps that's the effect of not enough sleep!

DoF is a little shallow. I'm really not at all keen on this image. Feels very much like a snap.

I don't understand the focus/blurring in this. The center's so sharp, yet one petal in the back is also sharp. Unless all the petals except that one were closer to the camera, what's going on?

Lovely shot. The sharp focus on the center makes the image seem almost 3D.

this is so like a sunflower our son grew after saving his own seed from a huge one he grew last year. non-hybrid due to seed saving = smaller flower centre. i photographed his but it wasn't quite as good a shot as yours (but i'm getting better thanks to sites like chromasia)!
