I mentioned yesterday that I'm away from home, but didn't say where. Before I tell you, I wonder how close you can get based on this picture. I know it's not much to go on, but in the past somebody has managed to work out my location from a photograph that I've posted that was far from obvious.
Oh, and I'm not in the UK, and the scale of this shot might not be immediately apparent ;-)

It's definitely taken through glass of some sort... a window? The trees look too detailed to be miniatures, I think, and the colors seem to be accurate for this time of year. I'm going to assume that you haven't left Europe (because your departure was so brief) but that's as much as I can narrow it down. I'm not very well-traveled, but I'll suggest France or second the Switzerland and Germany comments.

Couldn't the photo been taken from a cable way of some sort? Looks like window reflection down in the right corner. So i guess it might be in a ski-area?
