One of the things I like best about photographing weddings, other than the fact that they're wonderful events to take part in, is that each shot is a challenge. Take this one for example. Getting a decent shot of a pair of shoes isn't difficult, at least not normally: but when you're shooting in a hotel bedroom; on an already cluttered bedspread; and need to use flash because there isn't anywhere near enough available light, it's a different story entirely.

It can be a very challenging but worthwhile day indeed. For me this looks very natural using available light but I realise you used flash. Nice detailed shot!

I've been there more than a few times. Its a lot of untold, selfinflicted, enjoyable, yet stressful work, that usually yields fantastic pictures after hours of labour intensive selection, cropping, and chopping, that end up in an album and stuffed under a bed.... ;-) shame that.... hohum... keep on smiling!

Yes, a challenge indeed, but the result is a really nice 'dreamy' picture. For me that's just the kind of picture you would love to have when remembering your wedding! :)

I find weddings wonderful but extremely challenging. You made this shot incredible with such few elements to work with.

You've done a good job here - even to the extent of having the pattern of the bed covering at a 45 degree angle, and helping to draw the eye into the frame.

the first thing I thought when I saw this was "soft and creamy." How very odd but I still think it works. =)

Wonderful shot - but how the hell could she wear those all day? ;-)
Excellent! Great overall tone. Where did you place the flash for this shot?
