This is another wedding shot, but not of the one I was photographing. As I was waiting for the party to arrive at the venue another group came out to have their photographs taken. They had an official photographer, but also took quite a shots of each other – of which this was one. I couldn't resist grabbing a quick shot.

The aperture really grabs her and makes her the centre of attention. Love the smile, almost makes me think she knew. Classic wedding pose, holding extra bags too.

Very nice and soft image. It is a pity that she didn't stand on the top of the stairs.

this is a very nice shot. It's pretty and there's something appealing about a photo of a photographer. I think that the blur might be a bit too drastic, as something doesn't look quite right about her hair.

Dave the intricate detail in her purse was brought out nicely and I love how bright white her sash is draping easily off her arm. Did you do anything to highlight that portion more than the rest? The contrast looks nice in the background with the white against the darker medium. Cheers!

yes you're right 3rd ave and oh fyi, the sash I was referring to Dave is called a "chuni" in hindhi :)

Nice shot. It seems she is an Indian sine she is wearing a salwaar kameez.

Great shot Dave! Excellent contrast of background and subject. But what i love the most is that tiny little camera, the way she is holding her left hand and that smile of a good capture on her face :) Wonderful shot!

This has an old world charm in the classic tradition of yesteryear......yet......the digital camera she holds brings it into modern times. It all comes together just perfectly.

He Dave, I like this point of view - this beauty. The small camera fits to her elegant look, I've no idea why I like this one so much, it's fine to me.
