Yes, they're empty wine bottles, and the reflections are of the metal racking in which they're stacked.

Yes it was dead easy- bottles ....But in fact the image is worthy of being patterns on the wings of an exotic tropical butterfly. Damn it was taken in Germany so that could never have been right ... But heck ... Yeh let's go for the wing patterns much more fun. richard;-)

I think too abstract - I thought perhaps polished pipes of an organ at first.

ahh now this is great, what I like here are the negative spaces, and the fact that the colouration gives nothing away as to the subject, just the shapes make it obvious that they are of course bavarian trumpets!!! ;-)
