Chromasia HQ, in the run up to Christmas, has become rather hectic, not least because preparing for Santa when you have four children who are six and under is a bit of a logistical nightmare ;-) Our eldest two are helping out, but the young ones are starting to get a bit excited, ... to say the least. Luckily for us they're all moderately good sleepers, so Christmas Day shouldn't start too early, but I expect that the rest of the day may be a bit frantic.

Anyway, what with buying and wrapping presents, food shopping, and about ten million other things, I haven't had time to take any photographs (and definitely won't tomorrow) so am posting another from the wedding I shot on Friday. This is one of the young guests who decided to get his own back :-)

As for Christmas: if it's a holiday you celebrate, then have a good one; if you don't, but have some time off, enjoy it; and if it's business as usual then I hope you enjoy that too :-)

And I should add this to the bottom of the comments page, but forgot to add it again, so here it is for the third time ...

If you're interested we have 150 signed and numbered calendars for sale. Full details are available on our store page:

Dave, we hope you have a really super Christmas with your kids, and we all wish you the best..... from Craig and Family in Poole.

The image just goes to show you the quality they pump into main stream cameras. A Vario Tessar - Carl Zeiss on the front of a domestic digital, LIFES SO UNFAIR!!!... It just makes our work more difficult eh!!! ;-)

Merry Christmas..... csj

I always wonder why people leave the stickers all over their electronic equipment. I usually take off the stickers the very second I open the item or else I'm a walking advertisement. :)

Have a merry merry Christmas.

This child seems to have strangely wizened looking hands. Great blacks in this.

Merry Christmas one and all!

Hi Dave,
I managed to get my 6 year old back into bed at 1.50am before the 4 year old twins awoke at 6.30am, so a bit of a lie-in this year!!! Was thinking of getting a compact for the kids to play with, and having seen this shot I might just do so.
All the best for today and look forward to following you throughout 2008.
Regards,

Thanks everyone. Our Christmas day has gone pretty well, though Rhowan didn't get to sleep until after midnight, Harmony woke at 1.30 but then went back to sleep, and Finley woke up at around 4am, was awake for an hour, then went back to sleep. Libby and I are somewhat knackered as a result and I didn't manage to take any decent photographs. Hopefully I'll get something to put up tomorrow.

In the meanwhile, have a good holiday :-)

Hiya David,
I come here and lurk too often… well lurk and learn (Hey, that’d be a great name for a rock group, eh?)… And just because I rudely visit and say nothing doesn’t mean that I shouldn’t leave a strong message for you and your family to have a Merry & Happy! So… so… I will,
Have one, or both… K? And thanks for your effort, this is a rewarding experience.
Ted
