Well: brim-full of chocolates; rich food; good cheer and a rather annoying cold; it's time to head on out into 2008. So, if you've been waiting for me and Libby to answer your emails or post your books or calendars, we'll be putting our noses to the grindstone first thing tomorrow morning ;-)
Today though, we took the kids to the beach, and from left to right there's: Harmony watching Rhowan and Milly playing off in the distance; Libby armed with her Blackberry, digicam, beach buggy and Tabby; and Finley tearing off in a totally different direction to anyone else :-)

Unusual and striking take on the location. On a side note, I'm fascinated by this obsession Blackberry owners have on wearing their phone on their belt! I have one myself, a Pearl, and I didn't even take the holster out of the packaging. I simply don't get it... Can anyone explain?!

Love the "purity" of the tones (edited using LAB color, right?) and the emotional visual feeling of your family having a good time. Happy New Year! :-)

owen-b: a) it's too big to easily stuff in a pocket, b) (and this is my reason for using the holster) you can programme it to behave differently when it's holstered, and c) (this is Libby's reason) it's the safest place for it when you have a handful of kids :-)
nuno: no, despite the latest tutorial being on LAB this was done in RGB. By the way, I've been trying to email you recently but have had no reply. Could you send me an email with your latest address?

Just as well the baby is confined to its stroller ;-) What is Libby actually taking a shot of? Looks like you all had fun and good to see that you are on the mend! Thank you so much for having been such an inspiration throughout 2007! Looking forward to following your work in 2008! Happy New year to you and your family.

Love this shot. The bright almost white background creates an interesting atmosphere. It seems that this scene is happening "nowhere"
