Here's another one taken on our walk at Beacon Fell yesterday afternoon, and beyond that I don't have too much to say about this one. I'd be interested to hear what you think of it though.

David,
the post processing is as Chromasia like as it gets, but I cannot say I'm crazy about the composition. But that's just myself... bridges are a hard thing to take pictures of.

i think it's beautiful! I like it with, or without the figures in the distance. It definitely says something different to have the figures there, I think. It adds mystery to the cold.

I like the perspective. Good image.

I think the figures make the shot. I like the coloring as well - the pinkish/wood color hues are great with the cold feeling blues.

P.S. Is that you walking towards the camera with your wife?

3Desque, storytelling bokeh, raw emotional feeling. It doesn't get any better.
I personally like this shot a lot - lots of lines directing us towards the two figures that are waking away. And the overall color tone sets the right mood. Good work.

This is so wonderful.
Makes me want to walk there too.

Rob: no, I don't know who the two people are.
Ricardo: no, the shallow DoF is the result of shooting at f/.4.

I love the impression of temperature one gets from this image - its cold! I am surprised at how much detail remained in the wood planks with an aperture of 1.4! Nice work.
Cheers

Composition seems a bit off on this one. Really distracting.

Great shot Dave, pitch perfect colour and tone.

I'm going to go against what someone else said and say I really like the composition and feel the people in the background really make the shot. Great work, the colour is amazing.
