I'm not sure about this one. When I first processed it I really liked it. Then I didn't. Then I decided I did. Now I'm not sure.

You used to be indecisive and now you're not so sure ;-D I like it but prefer the others.

it looks like a james bond movie scene to me.

I like the waves in the water. Very nice.

#2 suits my palette ...plus the softness ... plus the proportions and is in a different division. richard

I really like this picture because it isn't a typical sunset at the beach picture. I like the dark tones in the water contrasting the bright pinks in the sky. It looks great with the dark bg option.

Thumbs up for #1 from me

I've not been by for ages and I've obviously missed a lot. Love your work sir, getting back to your roots! Really makes me miss the north.
Hope all is well,
Andy.

damn fine! water like ink! only it would need some kind of frame, the dark layout of your site does not go well with it.
maybe a little less sky would do too, cutting it just where it starts getting dark would be making a change.

Just had another look at this last posting David ... well in fact several looks. Sort of coming up with notion that the waves in this image are too aggressive for the sky. In reality if your cut the image in half horizontally you might just have a suspicion of the sky or the sea depending whether you took the top or bottom half. But what ever you do the #2 succeeds admirably. Love the challenge you have given me . richard

Yes indeed, a worthily end of a day.

Thanks everyone. As for the last three: I preferred the first, followed by the second, followed by this. And I think I'm inclined to agree with Richard that the balance between the sea and sky isn't quite right.

I n regards to your ambivalnce...If I might suggest.. use dodge tool in ps...set tocover roughly one third of right hand side of pic, set for midtones/and /or shadow..at about 15 to 18 percent with 0 percent hardness. click on image until 'darkness is pulled up so as to be lighter, a little closer to the lefthand side of photo... this would bring some balance int o the image which is what I think it lacks
