I had planned to shoot some more shots of the stranded ferry Riverdance today, but I was out of town for most of the afternoon and by the time I got back the weather was terrible, so I've posted another shot of Fleetwood pier, taken at the same time as this one.
The weather report is good for tomorrow, and low tide is at around 4pm, so I'll try and get some shots from the north of the ferry in the afternoon sun: providing the coast guard aren't being too zealous about excluding people from the beach.

Waw, this picture is amazing. I love the white shapes on the sea!

The thing that really draws me to this shot (and the earlier one you posted) is that you're actually IN the sea - this gives it a whole new perspective. Also, I didn't realise that people could get onto the pier - I've never seen anglers at the end before!

Holy smokes, that is some really busy looking water by the shore. Beautiful scene and, apparently, a nice day for some fishing.

Most have been on a tripod because of the sea, I think the effect has really worked well - I am wondering if you used a graduated neutral density filter to dark done the sky detail or if this was a post processing effect, but either way I love it. Would make a fine print on anyones wall. Thanks for sharing David.

The movement in the waves is lovely - nice detail with the men fishing from the pier.

Great shot... The water looks great!

I like the toning. Also how the sky and water both have an overall softness as a connecting point but are still contrasting because of the motion in the water.
