As I mentioned last week, my next tutorial is on HDR (High Dynamic Range) images. As such I've spent quite a lot of my photographic time over the last week or so thinking about the various ways in which this technique can be used (or misused).
Anyway, I'm reasonably pleased with this one, but much prefer the one I'll be putting up tomorrow – both as a photograph in its own right and as an example of this technique.
As usual, I haven't included the EXIF data, as this was constructed from three bracketed exposures, but I can tell you that they were all shot at 24mm and f/5.6.

I love the fact that you manage to find absolute detritus on your doorstep, I mean does this place still serve up tattoos, fantastic glow from the highlights, and the refelected detail on the glass is justice to the process and what it can achieve. I dont really understand why people are SO anti hdr, when it renders a great image, that would have taken hours in the darkroom!, and a small fortune in toner.

Wow... To zdjęcie jest przepiękne! Cudny klimat, kolorystyka... Widać tutaj działalność innego programu, ale to nieważne. Ogólnie jestem pod wrażeniem gdy patrzę na Twoją twórczość. Pięknie!

There is a very mysterious feel to this and a strong sense of 'what once was'. The PP adds to the air of intrigue and boosts it enigmatic qualities. I love the newspaper top right and the cup bottom left. Reminds me a little of Eugene Atget's work.

Me encanta el tratamiento, muy al estilo Giger, le da una atmosfera de pelicula.

I like it very much, because of the irreality it gives us.

Strange atmosphere, but beautiful ambient...
Excellent, love the lighting and textures .. - makes me think of the universe of Enki Bilal - dark and stange !
Very atmospheric David
