This one was taken from the same building as yesterday's, but from the 24th floor rather than the 34th, and the angle of view is about 90° to the right. Personally, I prefer yesterday's, but I thought I'd post this one too. I also have one, shot from a bit higher up the building, but I'm going to post that one on Monday.

have you post processed this photo strongly?

rambohoho: no, just a few Curves to adjust contrast.

Disgustingly gorgeous contrast. That lens is incredible, detail is kind of just pinging out of my screen..... csj

Another great shot - I'm just amazed at how little haze there is in these images - I'd expected clouds of dust from the combination of construction, traffic and the desert...

csj: yes, it's a good lens, but RAW Developer does an excellent job of extracting detail from RAW files - it's much better than ACR.

Garry: there was quite a lot of haze, but a couple of Curves can do wonders :-)

Inredible shot! This was a dust bowl only three and a bit years ago...

Awesome!! I definitely prefer this to yesterday's. I love how each of the buildings seem to have their own personality!

Difficult to choose between the two. I like the skeletal feel of the structures here. Amazing shot, world class! :)

Wonderful shot. Did the lights were this cold or you set it with the white balance?

My god, I love this photo. The idea of all those buildings going up at the same time is mind boggling.

David -

This photo is INCREDIBLE! SO striking, and don't get me started on composition! Truly a marvel.

I work for a rigging company in the States (just outside of Chicago) - we move & install heavy equipment and use cranes all the time, so the building going on in Dubai is of particular interest to me. I was just Googling crane pics and came across yours. I've now going over all the thumbnails on your website. Your work is, simply, perfection! WOW!
