This is the first of three portraits I'll be putting up that I took in the souk last Sunday. This is probably my least favourite of the three, but it's the only one of the set that contains any context - the other two are headshots.

Nice environmental portrait again just like the guy at the exhibition hall. A bit more personal and that's what I like. Great job.

David, for the first time Im going to pick a fault with one of your photos. To me- his face looks a little soft, portrait right.

Saw the Strobist shot of you at work. Now I know what people mean when they call you a Stella Photographer.

I think one of the frustrations of photography in the middle east is that you have so many problems taking pictures of people, who often look really interesting. Luckily there are non-locals who are more open to being photographed!!
