This is another shot from the Blackpool Pride 2008 festival that I photographed the weekend before last. And I would tell you more about it, but I've had one of those days where everything that could go wrong did go wrong: I spent two hours trying to fix a problem with my server (which spontaneously resolved itself for no apparent reason); I spent another hour trying to find an image for my next tutorial, only to discover that I'd saved a flattened copy of it, not the original; and the rest of the day was a litany of similar frustrations and minor disasters.
So, I'm now off to drink several glasses of wine in reasonably quick succession while hoping that tomorrow will be a more fruitful and relaxing affair than today.
In the meanwhile, here's a deranged vicar :-)

Loving the deranged vicar... looks like a psychotic Eric Morecambe... hope the wine helps - had to re-install windows myself this weekend so can sympathise with life's little hiccups.
jkm: yes, his expression pretty much summed it up :-)
Tom: I sometimes use ND Grads and/or a polarizer, but most of my work is done during post-production.

Looks more like a deranged nun (as played by Eric Morecambe) to me...
Love the shot/portrait, though. And hope things improve on the server/day front too!

Haha, reminds me of the guy from Monty Python..."EEZ NOT THE MESSIAH, EEZ A VERY NORTY BOY!"

Hehehehe...nothing like a crazed clergyman to end the day. ;)
So funny!
love the underbite! this reminds me of "the penguin" character in Blues Brothers film.
p.s. hope you don't get too spinny head. ;))
You know, that I know just how you feel ;-) The deranged vicar is really an extension of your feelings right?
Google reader recommends your bolg to me and I LOVE it!
OMG Very nice pics!
Hey Dave, love all your pictures. Do you use any camera filters or are they all done in photoshop?
Thanks all.
