Once again, my apologies for not posting much, but things have been hectic - some of which has been great, some not. On the 'not' side, I currently have Rhowan sat next to me, who isn't at all well, so I won't write more now. I'll catch up with you all tomorrow.
As for this one: it's a single shot HDR of some torn posters I spotted in a shop window on my way to town this afternoon.

moonhead: so far I'm pretty impressed with it. I still haven't had much of a chance to really use it, but it's definitely better than my old G5 - it's a lot faster, has better resolution, and the images are cleaner. it's still noisy compared to my DSLR's, but that's to be expected given the size of the chip.

Great composition. It´s not one of your nice portraits, but I do like it as well. It looks like a photo collage. Those colors are great.
I hope Rhowan gets well soon.

First; well spotted. Great image.
Second; I really like the feel of this it, to me, speaks of the society we live in. Consumerism, use once and abandon etc etc.
Re our other conversation, could have been mistaken for a textured image.

Get well soon Rho! Rather like it - looks a little 'scrapbookish'

Intriguing - one of those images that make you study the content for longer.

Thanks all.
Graham/csj: this is a straight-shot, well as straight as single shot HDRs get - i.e. no added texture.
Jennifer: thanks, she's a lot better now.
Catching composition!
nice colours - good choise
Very creative idea for a portrait. Exellent work here.
