If you read my last entry you will know that I was trying to be a bit mysterious about where the shot was taken, but Guillermo let the cat out of the bag within twenty minutes of me posting my entry. In fact, not only did he identify the location as Barcelona, he knew the exact square in which the image was taken :-)
So, yes, yesterday's, this, and the next few images I'll post were all taken in Barcelona. I flew out there last Tuesday, provided a couple of days of training for Xavier – my host for the trip – walked the entire length and breadth of Barcelona (at least that's how it seemed), burnt the top of my less than hairy head, went sailing on a catamaran, ate great food, drank great wine, and had a thoroughly wonderful time. Thanks Xavier.
As for this one: it was taken down at the port, but beyond that I can't tell you much more about the location. All being well Guillermo will stop by and tell us the exact grid reference ;-)

down near the Olympic Village, IIRC. Barcelona is a target-rich environment for photos, between the fabulous architecture and the light. hope to see more.
susan: I've got five shots I'll definitely be putting up - maybe a few more.

Dave: thanks for all your knowledge. It was a pleasure for me to learn a little piece of your art. And thanks for your comments. Xavier

I just now caught up with the RSS's. With yesterday's photos I thought, "they really look spanish" (I'm from Madrid) but thought, and I thought English people were just more pale (I was in the UK for 4 years). Then you tell me its from barcelona :) If you drop by Madrid do give a shout.
what I like about this one is the almost bleached out feel, like an old 35mm slide.

My most humble apologies, for ruining your suprise, Dave... ;)
About this one... it's the Barcelona World Trade Center, and the tower is part of Montjuic's cable car.
