The eagle-eyed among you may have noticed that all the shots I've posted from my trip to Barcelona were taken with my 24-70 and 5D. This is because I was travelling light and didn't want to take a huge amount of kit with me. One other lens that I did take though was my Holga on a lens cap as it weighs next to nothing and doesn't really take up much room. I didn't use it much, but thought it might work well with this scene. Personally, I'm happy with how it turned out, but would be interested to hear what you think.

And I should probably add that other than a minor bit of colour and contrast tweaking this is pretty much a straight shot.

David, I really like the look of this lens. Although I understand that one probably wouldn´t use it all-day long, the pictures you make using it always turn out quite original and impressive. This strange sharpness is really unique and very Holga´esque.

Do you (or does any of the readers) know if there exists a similart lens/mod for the Nikon system?

Very interesting lens. This one reminds me a bit of the lensbaby.

The lines, angles and then the soft whites really make this an interesting and pleasing image!

I've noticed a couple of other instances where you've used this lens...but this photo right here absolutely confirms that I need to get my hands on one of them. Such a dreamy/whispy depiction of the type of scene that could be boringly linear and structured...I love it.

Thanks all.

Rachel: yep, that's why I like it too - it adds a very surreal feel to each image.
