I'm back in Barcelona again, for the 2008 Europe Photobloggers meetup which starts this evening. I travelled over yesterday, with Paul Hargreaves, and we took a trip to the Palau Nacional (the home of the National Museum of Catalan Art). I didn't get any particularly good shots, but do like this one – a shot of the waterfall in front of the building.

We have various photo-walks planned for the next couple of days so I should be able to get back to posting a bit more regularly.

You are right about this shot. It has something to it. The composition and lines dividing the picture into three parts are lovely.

I really like to colour and the silhouets in this shot. When I read about Barcelona, I immediatly assosiated the photo with these waterfalls.

I like the division of the image and the colours are great!

Oddly I guessed either Las Vagas or Barcelona when I saw the shot - Well done me....

"I didn't get any particularly good shots"

Before I open up the comments to read the photo's info I my gut said this photo was from Barcelona, one of my favorite cities in Europe . Been to this area at night to watch/photograph the color fountains and know the diffculties shooting at night around this area.

I would say this is artistic type photograph, that is far from excellent and you captured what Barcelona is about in the photo.
