The decisive moment indeed... there is nothing really funny about this shot, but I can't help but laughing every time I see it!

EssPea: I know exactly what you mean - she does have a really infectious smile :-)

I love your b&w photographs, your tones always come out so well. I'm still trying to master b&w conversion using the channel mixer, your tutorial was very helpful, and I think my problem starts in processing my raw file, because I seem to get a lot of pixelation. Oh well your images inspire me to get better! Thanks, great shot!

I meant noise, not pixelation :)

I didn't know whether she was going to cry or laugh next... Great capture, David, I love the way you framed it, the nice use of f/2.8 on the right eye.

This is one cool portrait and one great moment to catch!
Excelent. Her expression is priceless.
Infectious is the right term. Marvellous capture.
:-) Love to know what or who caused this expression!
Thanks everyone.
Jennifer: I was so busy concentrating on taking the picture that I'm not sure what caused the smile.
Nice shot, :-)

Great shot David! ... and awesome site, congratulations!
Funny expression, looks like she ate something sour!
Excellent, probably the best picture I've seen from the weekend
I love this portait, it just makes me smile every time I look at it. Nicely framed.
