This is a shot of Rhowan, taken on Fleetwood beach just after she'd had a row with Harmony. I can't remember what they were arguing about, and she was running around playing again two minutes later, but she did look very forlorn for the few seconds it took me to take this shot.
On a side note: Libby took some shots of me photographing the kids that I've posted here:
I was trying to photograph Harmony, who you can see running off in the top-right corner of the first shot, but I was slightly hampered by Tabitha's attempts to help out :-)

Really gorgeous, will go down as an all time fave of mine I think. Tones are lovely as well as the subject and comp. Wonderful fun shots from Libby - thanks for the amusing insight ;-)

hi again .. its a nice family snap i like these kind of photos casue when all is said and done in the years to come they are the ones that will show our children as they really are in frozen moments, but just on the tech side of things i really dont feel that 2.8 was a good choice for this photo let me explain, i know that you like this lens and its a great one i have the 100/ 4oo version myself but it has other f stops other than the 2.8 you could have opened it up to say 5.6 still got a nice DOF on the background as you shot at 200 but keepin that forground in focus which is what i would have prefered as i find the blurred stones very distracting, if they where in focus i think they would have blended into the scene better rather than draging my eyes down to them ...it seems a bit bright on my screen im sure the colours on that shirt have more punch in them in real life , but in saying all of that i find this photo of your child much more pleasing than the other over processed ones on your site. I guess im a sucker for photography capturing what is actually there instead of creating an image that is way different from what was in the viewfinder thanks again for todays effort worth the visit

love this David, her positioning/hair/clothes/expression are so natural, only thing is her bottom lip looks a tiny bit lipstick-y, but could be my monitor. :)

The definitive moment. And F2.8 for me all the way in this one. I do not shoot wide open often enough.
