I'm now back from Bulgaria, having had a great time in and around Veliko Tarnovo, but don't have any other pictures to post. As I mentioned, it wasn't a photographic trip, and I didn't have a great deal of free time, but I will be going back again in the future.

So, it's back to more usual material for the next few days, shot up at Fleetwood beach this afternoon. I have two new shots of this structure, which I'll put up tomorrow and the day after, but in the meanwhile, here's a shot of Tabby - our youngest daughter and least photographed of all our children.

I have wondered if Tabby was a troll because you've kept her so hidden away, but she is clearly not at all troll-like. :) Beautiful soft focus.

Also, just an aside, but both of my children are from Bulgaria and I know there is a large orphanage in Veliko Tarnovo. Adding to the family?

Cyndi: no, she's not a troll, and she's now getting a lot easier to photograph. I don't know what it was, but I found it really difficult to get any baby pictures that I liked. And no, much as I love our children we won't be getting any more of them :-)

Beautiful photograph David. Your photo captures a timeless innocence.

oh boy, she is something! Great that the first pic is B&W ...waiting to see in colours then :) love the hands and the way she holds the viewer eyes... well done.

Aww. Another nice one! I didn't even know you had one so little! All of your girls are beautiful. It is hard to imagine a photo of them not turning out well because they are so darn cute. I am trying to convince myself to get the 24-70mm f2.8....... I don't know if I should get that one or the 70-200mm f/2.8L IS hrm

The lighting on the face is wonderfully bright and soft. Perfect.

Beautiful eyes

Lovely - easily recognisable as a Nightingale!

Oh she is just precious! It's funny how the youngest has the least photos and the oldest has the most. My youngest is perfectly happy about that since he hates to have his picture taken and avoids it at all costs.

Just a living doll! Her eyes are stunning.

Thanks all.

Jessica: both the 24-70 and 70-200 are good lenses – you wouldn't regret getting either of them.

Jennifer: yes, she does look quite a bit like Rhowan and Harmony did at that age.
