After the rather lengthy (and mildly heated) discussion of HDR photography on my previous entry I thought it was about time for something slightly less controversial and slightly more mellow: a shot of Harmony, partially obscured by the long grass in the sand dunes at Blackpool's south shore. And beyond that I don't have much more to say about this one but would be interested to hear what you think.

Great portrait.
Not many will shoot their main subject partly hidden by, so called "background" and here is a great example of how is it done.
I love how she looks like woman/child, kind of ageless.
Love it. Original work.

Beautiful image. Really like how her hair almost blends in with the foreground/background grass.
As with some of your other images, it would be interesting to see the "pre-processing" version, to compare the before and after.
Excellent work!

What a mysterious child emerging from the tall grass. Even though her countenance is obscured, the simple beauty of her eyes and face comes through. Wondrous shot.
great tones and processing i like the glow effect..
I must say that i dont like the way the kids iris is covered as you can connect as there is not in road through the eyes... but that adds to the mystery i guess..
Its a beautifull image and thought id be honest with the eyes thing

finally a little piece of poetry on Chromasia. It's been a while since you posted anything like that. A pure delight.

Maybe a little sharpness on the girl's face would have been better.
Beautiful, anyway!

I really enjoy the feel and look of this image.
Very nice. Really like the processing. She seems so at peace sitting in the grass.
