This is a shot of Finley, our almost five year old son. He's grown up a lot since he was featured on the cover of my first photography book; Baby Photography Now :)

I really like this composition. Such an original shot that I will now try to copy ;) Fantastic details and toning too. This definitely works better with the Bokeh filter and you really seem to have mastered it as I would not have noticed that it was added had it not been for the original image.
Jason: Go for it! As for the Bokeh filter; I've been really impressed with it so far, and providing you're subtle, it can produce great results. Incidentally, I used it (very sparingly) for my next Photoshop Tennis image. See if you can spot it when it goes up on Friday.

Love the image, love the processing and mono conversion. What does Finley think of the shot? I took something similar of my son last year - http://bit.ly/aVSNlv - and saved it on my desktop. My 4yr old loves walking past and telling me that he's got his feet all over my screen!
