This is the last of my seascape shots from my recent trip back to the UK, and while it's not the most striking of the ones I've posted, I do like it. The good news is that I'll be back in the UK again next month (6th-16th), so should have some more seascapes to post then :)

Love the subtle toning and "new" details that you bring out in this shot. More seascape shots? It feels like Christmas!

ahhh...familiar Chromasia ! I love the (almost glow) light effect you've thrown on the foreground beach/rocks/tripod.

Another puzzling little change... what did the pebble bottom-right do to offend? :) I initially thought composition, but it just dawned on me that it's already quite dark on the original. So I'm guessing it was too heavy after retoning and vignette?

Thanks everyone.
Bob: I often find myself removing clearly defined objects that are on or very close to the border as they can be distracting. In this case it wasn't a big deal, but I thought the image looked better without it.

Intriguing and disheartening. As a beginner, I wonder how many images I will need to contemplate before arriving at such insights! In the meantime I'll keep coming here in the hope you give the odd one away :) Thanks.
