I processed another shot of the interior of the Buzludzha monument yesterday, looking out through the lozenge shaped windows you can see in this shot, and think that it will probably turn out to be my favourite of the set. In the meanwhile though, here's a shot of the exterior. As you can see, it's a quite extraordinary building.

Craig has just posted a shot taken from a similar vantage point here:

Looks like something from the planet Vulcan. Excellent processing and toning. The contrail adds to the "other-world" feel. This would make a great poster.

You are definably developing a "toning style". so very well done, of course.
The contrail is so appropriate to the scene, to the shot. I'm so glad you didn't "clean up clone it" out.

I'd be interested in seeing a BW version. This sort of toning makes me cringe a bit, but that's just a personal preference.

Great composition Dave, looks like the home of Captain Scarlet, imposing I like the plane trail and smooth sky tones.

Love the low angle—really emphasizes the peak and the tower... but not fond of this reddish tone.

Awesome. I love how you brought out the rocks on the path in the foreground. The toning is just fantastic.

You visualize well what you are looking to end up with. In my opinion, your low point of view improves the composition and makes the photograph more memorable.

I really like this the detail is super accentuated. Great light too. Not sure about the saturation of the sepia though, a little too much?

Excellent choice of toning and the contrail really makes the shot! Seriously cool shot :)

Totally loved the processing on this! \m/
