This is the third and final shot of Blackpool's North Pier that I'll be posting: taken from the south side of the pier. I'm not sure which is my favourite of the three that I've posted, but I do like how this one turned out.

Hi David, It looks like you've used the free-transform tool (or similar to stretch the image out to the bottom LH side. Or is it just lens correction/adjustment?

Hi David, I think this one's a cracker! Almost like an HDR, lovely detail and composition.
Happy Christmas from Emsworth.

Mat: in this case it was a combination of the two. Well, the Skew tool rather than free-transform, but you get my point.
Jim: thanks, and Happy Christmas to you too :)

I love these shots David! Great toning. What can you tell me about your thought process in using the scew tool - was there a specific reason or was i just the overall look you were going for? I'm just curious at the "why's" sometimes - your work is always so intriquing to me that I get curious.

Great mini Pier series Dave! Top class as always. Been using your work to inspire my students at Kirkham., your mini psds are very helpful. Getting to grips with the 5D mkII, must get out on the Fylde coast. Wishing you a prosperous New Year. When ever you are back in th eFylde let me know would love to met up again and go for a photo walk!
