Here's the second lost shoe that I mentioned yesterday: shot on Fleetwood beach when I was back in the UK last week. Of the two I think I prefer this one, but there isn't a great deal to choose between them.

Between Fleetwood and Johnston you have a pair. You could collect your prizes and have a worldwide wardrobe before you know it. (and you'll never guess what I saw on the sidewalk the other morning while jogging. they are also called a pair...but usually come in ones.)

This one feels more 'authentic' to me, it seems natural to find a shoe on the ground, whereas the previous one being perched on a fence seemed out of place. I quite like the original version of this one too.

Really love your treatment of this. Long ago when I discovered your blog, in my head you were the guy who shot "beach stuff." My first attempt to emulate your images was to shoot, of all things, a shoe. :) This is almost like a reunion, lol.
